SCIR The Spinal Cord InjuryResponse Initiative, known as SCIR, is a cross-agency partnership betweenQueensland Health and the Department of Communities, Disability and CommunityCare Services and Housing and Homelessness Services. VMP has produced a videoto explain the procedures and approach to support, housing and equipment forindividuals with a newly acquired spinal cord injury to facilitate theirtransition from hospital to home. This DVD showcaseshousing solutions provided under the SCIR initiative and features interviewswith clients, carers, occupational therapists and building service providers.
