AMY ~JAN 4 10.AVI
Amy was 16 yrs old when she was a passenger of a vehicle involved in a tragic crash on December 26 ,2009. She had broken her neck at the C6/7 level rendering her quadriplegic leaving her on life support fighting for her life for a month. Very much into music ,the nurses in ICU placed a radio at the head of her bed. She refused to have turned on. On the ninth day following her accident, with company in , we decided it was time to fill the room with sunlight sound. The tune she had been listening to in the car prior to the crash came on. It was one of her favorites,"Livin it up" by Ja Rule. Hooked up to life support ,suction tube in hand , Amy suddenly came to life! Her determination, inspiration motivation led her to open a Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center in her small town Nova Scotia. Music is a healer! Thank you JaRule!
