"The dominant genetic elements of Romanians are of Thraco-Dacian origin": http://www.basarabeni.ro "A Thracian mitochondrial Eve is at the origin of Romanians. The population from this territory has then migrated towards all of Europe 30-40000 years ago" said professor Alexander Rodewald, director of the Human Biology Institute from Hamburg University during a conference hosted by the State Office for Inventions
