DOWNLOAD HERE: newsdirect.nma.com.tw Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania have destroyed tumors in three leukemia patients, each in three weeks, using genetically modified T-cells, according to articles published yesterday in the New England Journal of Medicine and Science Translational Medicine. The scientists removed samples of the patients' T-cells and used a lentivirus vector to modify them to attack cells that express the protein CD19, which includes cancer cells. Source: Science Daily

Holly is now able to crawl and sit up on her own just 7 weeks after her second treatment for cerebral palsy at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama City, Panama. Her physical therapist now says that Holly will walk without braces or a walker and her neurologist was very impressed by her overall decrease in tone since her return from Panama.
