New Staff Join the Lofty Team of Professionals

Vienna, VA — As the final preparations for the Grand Opening of The SPA at Lofty are underway, it is our distinct pleasure to announce the addition of Cyndi Braunstein, Katherine Prins, and Margaret Burrough to our Lofty family. Each of these ladies brings with them years of professional experience and technical expertise. Please take a few moments to acquaint yourself with each of them. We are sure you will agree that Lofty Salon and Wellness Center is now “the” place in Northern Virginia to find the best in Skin Care.

Cyndi Braunstein – Master Esthetician
Cyndi Braunstein is certainly no stranger to professional skin care and treatment. As the former owner of Cynia European Day Spa in McLean, VA, she has been at the forefront of the esthetics industry in the DC area for over 20 years. She has committed her career to providing the highest standards of care, experience, research, and quality to every one of her clients. By using the very best techniques and products available and utilizing a unique diagnosis of each individual client’s needs, she carefully tailors her treatments to create a program that offers significant results for even the most difficult skin. Her goal is to achieve and maintain a more youthful, radiant skin using the latest in scientific innovation and technology while never compromising one’s lifestyle or budget.

Cyndi often says “knowledge is power.” Her personal search for answers has afforded her the opportunity to study extensively both nationally and internationally with experts in nutrition, aesthetic chemistry, acne, hyper-pigmentation, cellulite, body detoxification, spa body treatments, laser treatments, medical aesthetics, skin sciences, pressure point massage, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, corrective makeup, and aesthetic rehabilitation. She has worked side by side with research scientists in Switzerland, France, and the US, to find answers to unsolved skin ailments and she also studied at the Thalasso Center in Brittany, France to learn the latest in body detoxifying and energizing treatments. By embracing science and technology, Cyndi is able to offer her clients the most effective non invasive skin care treatments available.

Katherine (Katie) Prins – Professional Esthetician
Katie Prins has been a professional esthetician in the DC area for the past thirteen years spending most of that time as a member of the spa team at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown. Prior to her work at the Four Seasons, Katie was a corporate trainer for Elizabeth Arden and Georgette Klinger. She received her formal training in esthetics from the Atelier Esthétique Institute of Esthetics in New York City and attended NYU’s post graduate program for paramedical studies in esthetics.

Over the course of her career, she has continued to develop her passion for esthetics. Katie believes that a great esthetician must properly analyze the skin in order to know the proper treatment protocol for correcting and strengthening the skin. Katie works closely with each one of her clients to tailor a program that fits the needs of the individual. Her goal is to educate her clients about the causes and effects of free radical damage which lead to premature aging. Another key ingredient to her treatments is providing her clients the chance to experience a “recess” from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Katie loves to pamper her clients and she feels honored that they want to spend their valuable time with her.

Margaret Burrough – Client Services
Margaret Burrough joins our distinguished staff as a client services specialist. Her knowledge of the products and services in the health and wellness industry makes her a valuable liason between our team of professionals and their clients. Since she is the first and last point of contact with each client, her expertise is vital to ensure the complete satisfaction of everyone who visits Lofty Salon and Wellness Center.
